Wildcats, Blue Devils set for big game.

The No. 3 Kentucky Wildcats and No. 9 Duke Blue Devils will meet for a huge early-season showdown Tuesday in the 2012 Champions Classic.

Kentucky (1-0) is coming off a narrow 72-69 win over Maryland in its season opener on Friday. Kyle Wiltjer led all Kentucky players with 19 points. He also had six rebounds for the Wildcats. Archie Goodwin chipped in another 16 points, two rebounds and two assists, while star freshman Nerlens Noel had just four points but nine rebounds in 26 minutes.

Duke is also 1-0 heading into Tuesday night's action. The Blue Devils defeated the Georgia State Panthers, 74-55, in their season opener Friday. Mason Plumee had an excellent game for Duke, scoring 19 points and hauling in 14 rebounds. Tyler Thornton finished with 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals for Duke.

The game will be televised on ESPN and online at WatchESPN beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET.
