Cardinals vs. Falcons: Atlanta keys in on pass rush against Arizona

Either Kevin Kolb or John Skelton will face constant pressure from Atlanta's defensive front.

Whether Kevin Kolb or John Skelton ends up taking snaps behind center against the Atlanta Falcons' defense, both Arizona Cardinals quarterback should expect the Falcons to bring pressure all game.

That's at least what the Falcons are saying, according to their team website, as Atlanta will look to take advantage of an offensive line that has given up 41 sacks on the season thus far. Falcons safety Thomas DeCoud was quick to scout the two quarterbacks for the site on Thursday, as the team prepares for both possibilities.

"Skelton is a bigger body, taller guy that can stand in the pocket and deliver the ball," DeCoud said. "Kolb has the ability to extend plays even though he will stay in the pocket."

Both quarterbacks are expected to run the same attack against the Falcons, and that's what defensive ends John Abraham, Kroy Biermann and the Falcons' defense are preparing for in practices leading up to the showdown.
