Falcons injury report: Julio Jones, Sean Weatherspoon still not practicing

The Dirty Birds may be without their star wide receiver and linebacker when they attempt to rebound from their Week 10 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Josh D. Weiss-US PRESSWIRE

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and linebacker Sean Weatherspoon still haven't practiced this week, and are both listed as questionable for Atlanta's game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.

Jones is still dealing with the effects of an ankle injury he sustained in Week 10 during the Falcons' 31-27 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Weatherspoon has his own ankle injury from which he's recovering, which he suffered in the Falcons' Week 8 game against Philadelphia.

Wideout Kevin Cone and safety Charles Mitchell also missed practice for the third straight day; both have been ruled out for Sunday's game. Linebacker Stephen Nicholas did return to full practice for the Falcons on Friday after being a partial participant on Wednesday and Thursday.

Running back Michael Turner is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game. The star back has been a partial participant in Falcons practices this week with a groin injury. Other limited participants included defensive end John Abraham and defensive tackles Jonathan Babineaux and Vance Walker.
