Saints injury report: Six players out for Thursday's game

The Saints had a number of key injuries against the 49ers last week. The short turnaround isn't helping their cause as they get ready to take on Atlanta.

Six members of the New Orleans Saints are out for Thursday night's game against Atlanta, according to the team's injury report. Safety Isa Abdul-Quddus (concussion), wide receiver Courtney Roby (shoulder), tackle Charles Brown, tackle Bryce Harris (knee), defensive tackle Tom Johnson (back), and defensive end Junior Galette (knee) will all sit out as New Orleans tries to beat Atlanta for the second time this season. The Saints handed the Falcons their only loss of the season in October.

Roby, Brown and Galette have sat out multiple games due to their injuries. Abdul-Quddus and Johnson played in Sunday's game against San Francisco and had four and three tackles, respectively. Harris also played against the 49ers, but suffered an injury and was on crutches in the locker room after the game. Saints coach Joe Vitt told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that it is likely Harris will end up on injured reserve.

Two other players, receivers Marques Colston and Lance Moore, left Sunday's game with head injuries. It appears that they will play against the Falcons.
