The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are comfortably ahead of the Maryland Terrapins, 27-7, after three quarters. Robert Godhigh scored on a five yard touchdown run late in the quarter. Tevin Washington, Vad Lee, and Orwin Smith each have one rushing touchdown for the Yellow Jackets, who haven't really been challenged by a toothless Maryland offense.
The Terps got inside the Georgia Tech 20 yard line halfway through the quarter, but linebacker-turned-quarterback Shawn Petty was sacked by Jeremiah Attaochu on a fourth down attempt. However, Petty would later connect with Stefon Diggs for a 16 yard touchdown pass to get Maryland on the board. Other than that, though, Petty has struggled, going 4-11 for only 36 yards. Brandon Ross is leading the way for the Terps on the ground with 53 yards.
Orwin Smith leads the Yellow Jackets with 89 rushing yards, followed by Vad Lee with 36 yards. Six players for Georgia Tech have at least 20 rushing yards.
