The Bulldogs have run away with this one in the third quarter and now lead Ole Miss, 30-10, with one quarter left to play.
Aaron Murray continued to pick on the Rebels' young secondary coming out of the locker room, finding Malcolm Mitchell for his third touchdown pass of 40-plus yards (42 yards).
The Bulldogs continued their offensive surge on their next drive with some intermediate strikes from Murray setting up an 8-yard rushing touchdown from Alexander Olgetree.
The Rebels switched to Barry Brunetti at quarterback for their next drive as they searched for some more physicality on the ground. It looked like it might work, too, with Brunetti busting off runs of 8 and 6 yards before coughing up this baffling fumble to the Bulldogs:
Murray and company weren't able to turn that takeaway into points but the Bulldogs' defense did tack on two more with a safety late in the quarter.
Georgia is now in milk-the-clock mode with a 30-10 lead at the end of the third. Georgia has the ball on its own 38-yard line but is going to have to average better than its current 2.7 yards per carry for that strategy to work.
