Star wide receiver Roddy White entered Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys needing four catches to become the Atlanta Falcons' all time reception leader and he did just that with his fourth caught ball in the third quarter. White's performance helped the Falcons to victory.
With his fourth catch of the evening, White passed Falcons legend Terance Mathis for first place on the all time list with 574 receptions as a Falcon. Of course, White didn't stop there, continuing to separate himself by catching three more passes and accumulating more than 100 yards on the night.
The 31-year-old wideout has spent his entire career with the Falcons, since the team drafted him in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft. After struggling his first two seasons, White has turned himself into an elite wide receiver and a big reason for that is longevity. Since his third season, White has averaged 94 receptions per season.
