The Atlanta Hawks lead the Indiana Pacers 51-50 heading into halftime on Wednesday night at Philips Arena. Both teams have shot well from the field, with the Hawks at 53.7 percent and the Pacers at 50.0 percent.

A back and forth first quarter ended with Indiana pulling out ahead 25-22. David West got off to a hot start for the Pacers, scoring 10 points in the quarter.

Atlanta's bench provided a spark early in the second quarter, turning the two-point deficit into a 10-point lead less than four minutes into the quarter. The Hawks pushed the lead out to 11 before Indiana closed the gap at the end of the half.

In his return from an ankle injury, Josh Smith has nine points and three assists to lead Atlanta. Al Horford also has nine points for the Hawks. The Hawks' bench has scored 21 points to just 11 for Indiana's bench.

West leads Indiana with 14 points. Paul George, who will be counted on greatly in the absence of Danny Granger, has 10 points and five rebounds.
