2012 SEC Championship score: Eddie Lacy puts Alabama back in front 25-21

Eddie Lacy's 1-yard touchdown run puts Alabama back in front of Georgia 24-21

Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama's Eddie Lacy punches in his second touchdown of the game this time form one yard out to put the Tide back on top of Georgia 25-21. Alabama turned to its power running game late in the first half and the Bulldogs have struggled to slow it down.

The Crimson Tide now has 296 yards rushing in the game with Lacy leading the way with 177 yards on 18 carries. T.J. Yeldon has done his share of damage as well and has also topped the 100 yard barrier with 16 carries for 105 yards. All those yards have Alabama with over a 12 minute advantage in time of possession.

Georgia has been able to move the ball as well but have had limited touches since Alec Ogletree returned a blocked field goal to put the Bulldogs up 11. Since that point, Georgia has had one possession that ended in a three and out.
