Wide receiver Roddy White (knee), safety William Moore (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (ribs) sat out Wednesday's practice for the Atlanta Falcons, according to the team's injury report. Their status for this weekend's game was not listed. The Falcons take on the New York Giants Sunday in Atlanta.
White had nine catches, 117 yards and a touchdown for Atlanta in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers. He leads the team in receiving with 77 catches and 1140 yards on the year. Falcons coach Mike Smith expects him to return Thursday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Like White, Babineaux played against the Panthers. Moore was held out.
Four Falcons were limited in practice Wednesday, including tackle Sam Baker (hand), guard Justin Blalock (elbow), wide receiver Harry Douglas (ribs) and cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder). It was Samuel's first action since Atlanta's November 29 contest against the New Orleans Saints.
Sunday's contest kicks off at 1 p.m. EST, and can be seen on Fox.
