Georgia Southern vs. Bradley final score: Eagles fall at Braves, 62-43

The Georgia Southern offense went cold in the final 10 minutes, allowing Bradley to pull away.

Georgia Southern scored just three points over the final 10:04, as Bradley defeated the Eagles, 62-43, on Monday night at Carver Arena in Peoria, Ill.

The Braves (7-2) outscored the Eagles (4-6), 17-3, during the run that put the game away and extended a five-point lead to a 19-point victory. Georgia Southern was 1-of-10 from the field down the stretch.

C.J. Reed led the way for the Eagles with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists. Reed was 3-of-10 from the field, and all of his made shots came from behind the three-point line. Eric Ferguson pulled down seven rebounds to go with his four points and one block, and Tre Bussey contributed eight points, four rebounds and three assists.

Tyshon Pickett compiled a double-double for Bradley, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Will Egolf had 12 points, eight rebounds, a block and a steal for the Braves.

Georgia Southern had trouble putting the ball in the basket all night. The Eagles shot 35.4 percent from the field and made just three of their 11 attempts from the free throw line.

Next up for Georgia Southern is a trip to Las Vegas for the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic. The Eagles take on Mississippi Valley State on Saturday, Dec. 22 at Orleans Arena, with tipoff set for 3 p.m. ET.
