The Atlanta Falcons helped stamp out rumors that they were a soft team with a 34-0 drubbing of the reigning Super Bowl champion New York Giants on Sunday at the Georgia Dome. Perhaps the best part of the Falcons sound victory is that they ended the game relatively healthy as they look towards the Detroit Lions this Saturday.
Safety William Moore is continuing to deal with a hamstring injury that has kept him out of the last two games. He watched the Falcons practice from the sideline on Tuesday. Offensive lineman Joe Hawley had been suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy and was back at practice on Tuesday. The Falcons can take the week to decide if they want to put Hawley back on the active roster.
The Falcons have already wrapped up the NFC South but can clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win over the Lions on Saturday.
