Falcons injury report: Key contributors questionable for Sunday vs. Lions

The Falcons have not been able to get much out of several crucial players during practice this week, leaving open for debate who will see action on Sunday.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Atlanta Falcons have six players listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, including star wide receiver Roddy White and top defensive lineman Jonathan Babineaux.

White (knee) is just two weeks removed from a terrific nine-catch performance against the Carolina Panthers, with 117 yards and a touchdown to his credit. He had light participation in Thursday and Friday's practices, but remains questionable. Babineaux (ribs) participated lightly in practices all week, and would be a welcome force on the field against the Detroit Lions passing game.

Cornerback Chris Owens (hamstring) and safety William Moore (hamstring) will also both be vital to the defensive efforts of the Falcons. Moore hasn't seen the field since rolling up 11 tackles and two interceptions against the New Orleans Saints in Week 13, and the Falcons could certainly use him with downfield threat Calvin Johnson sure to be involved for the Lions.

Here's the full injury report for the Falcons:

Name Position Injury Status
Jonathan Babineaux DT Ribs Questionable
Tyson Clabo OT Thigh Questionable
Harry Douglas WR Ribs Probable
Cliff Matthews DE Hamstring Questionable
William Moore S Hamstring Questionable
Chris Owens CB Hamstring Questionable
Roddy White WR Knee Questionable
