The Atlanta Falcons could be in position to pick up a defensive end in the first round of the NFL draft, according to a recent mock draft by CBS Sports. Analyst Rob Rang has Atlanta selecting Sam Montgomery, a defensive end out of LSU. Analyst Dane Brugler, meanwhile, has the Falcons selecting defensive end Ezekial Ansah out of BYU. Both analysts have the Falcons picking 32nd.

Montgomery was named to the Associated Press third-team All America while at LSU. He had 32 tackles and seven sacks for LSU this year. He was the team sack leader. In addition, he both forced and recovered a fumble. Falcons fans interested in Montgomery could get an early in-person glimpse of him on New Year's Eve, when LSU takes on Clemson in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. The game will be played at the Georgia Dome.

Ansah, who's nicknamed "Ziggy," is originally from Africa. He came to BYU originally as a track and field athlete, but converted to football two years ago. He had 57 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2012.
