Four Falcons players missed practice Wednesday, according to the team's injury report. The non-participants included wide receiver Roddy White (knee), cornerback Chris Owens (hamstring), safety William Moore (hamstring), and defensive end Cliff Matthews (hamstring). The Falcons take on Tampa Bay in the season finale on Sunday.
White has yet to miss a game during his NFL career, and it's unlikely that he'll miss Sunday's game. He's had a handful of missed practices this season, but has always been ready to play come Sunday. White has 87 catches for 1,309 yards and seven touchdowns for Atlanta in 2012.
Moore will likely miss Sunday's game, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It will be the fourth-straight game he misses. According to Falcon's coach Mike Smith, Moore has not been medically cleared to play.
"We’re to a point in the process that we need to get him as healthy as can be," Smith said. "I would say that he’s not going to play in the game this week. That would be our take on it."
Atlanta has clinched home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. The Falcons will have a bye week following the game against Tampa Bay.
