Three Atlanta Falcons made the 2013 Pro Bowl, according to an announcement on the team's website. Quarterback Matt Ryan, tight end Tony Gonzalez and wide receiver Julio Jones have all made the NFC Pro Bowl team. Atlanta is 13-2 and has clinched home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs.
This is Ryan's second Pro Bowl selection. Ryan has thrown for 4,481 yards and 31 touchdowns this season. Those numbers have helped him earn a 100.2 passer rating. He ranks second in the NFL in completion percentage, third in completions and fifth in yardage and touchdowns.
Gonzalez has been to the Pro Bowl twelve times previously. He's in his 16th NFL season, and has racked up 88 catches for 889 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He has more Pro Bowl appearances than any tight end in NFL history, according to the team's website.
Finally, this is Jones's first selection to the Pro Bowl. Jones accumulated 76 receptions, 1,142 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns this season. He, Gonzalez and Ryan have helped build a wildly-successful passing attack in Atlanta.
