Baylor Vs. South Dakota State Final Score: Bears Hold On For 68-60 Win

Baylor trailed by as many as 12 points in the first half but came from behind and held off South Dakota State by a score of 68-60. The Bears closed the first half with a 20-7 run to take a 36-28 lead into the intermission. The Jackrabbits hung around in the second half cutting the lead to 64-60 with just 1:20 left to play. Baylor iced the game by going 4-4 from the free throw line in the final moments.

Pierre Jackson scored 18 points and Brady Heslip added 17 off the bench to lead the Bears. Anthony Jones scored 11 and Quincy Miller added 10.

Nate Wolters led South Dakota State with 19 points while Chad White was also in double figures with 15.

Baylor advances to the Round of 32 where it will take on the winner of the UNLV-Colorado matchup.
