Duke Vs. Lehigh Final Score: Mountain Hawks Upset Blue Devils, 75-70

The second day of the NCAA Tournament has seen multiple double-digit seeds pull off the upset, and the latest came from the No. 15 seeded Lehigh Mountain Hawks who upset the No. 2 seeded Duke Blue Devils, 75-70. Lehigh became the second 15 seed to win today as the Norfolk St. Spartans upset the Missouri Tigers earlier on Friday.

Lehigh played Duke tough the entire game and the two went toe-to-toe the whole way. Duke made a mini-run at the beginning of the second half to go up by five, but Lehigh did not panic and came back to go on an 8-0 run to take a 47-42 lead.

Lehigh had another run in them where they outscored Duke 9-2 under three minutes left and countered any comeback attempt Duke had in them. Lehigh hit a pair of wide open dunks under one minute and hit their free throws to seal the win and stun Duke.

Lehigh was led by CJ McCollum who scored a game-high 30 points and Gabe Knutson chipped in with 17. The game could have been an ever bigger win had Lehigh shot better than 25-of-37 from the free throw line.

Lehigh advances to the next round where they will face the winner between Notre Dame and Xavier on Sunday.
