VCU Vs. Indiana Final Score: Hoosiers Comeback Against Rams To Punch Ticket To Sweet 16, Win 63-61

The VCU Rams nearly made it to their second straight Sweet 16 appearance, but they fell short as the Indiana Hoosiers came back from a nine-point second half deficit to win 63-61. The game came down to the final moments with Indiana trailing by five with 90 seconds left in the game, but they were able to hold VCU scoreless for the rest of the game which included a pair of free throws missed by Bradford Burgess which kept Indiana in this game.

Indiana took advantage of the Burgess' missed free throw and drove down the court with Victor Oladipo making a layup plus the following free throw after being fouled to tie the game at 61. Oladipo almost hit the game winner after grabbing a missed three-pointer by VCU, but his shot was blocked. However, the ball fell right into the hands of Will Sheehey who was wide open and hit the game winner putting Indiana up 63-61.

The basket by Sheehey was his first made basket in the second half and first since the 7:57 mark in the first half. VCU had a good look on their final shot but Rob Brandenberg's three-pointer did not fall.

This is the first Sweet 16 appearance by Indiana since 2002 and they will take on the winner between Iowa State and Kentucky in Atlanta.
