Kentucky Vs. Iowa State Final Score: Wildcats Cruise To Victory, 87-71 Advance To Sweet 16

For about 25 minutes of this game the Kentucky Wildcats were being challenge by the Iowa St. Cyclones. The game was tied at 42 points apiece at the 16:28 mark in the second half, but from that point on Kentucky outscored Iowa State 45 to 29 to win in a blowout 87-71.

Kentucky was just too much for Iowa State even by playing only seven players, but it was really six as Kyle Wiltjer played only three minutes. The three-point shot is how Kentucky was able to blow open this game as they made 10-of-20, and made six-of-seven in the second half. Overall from the field Kentucky shot 55 percent and had four players scoring in double figures with Marquis Teague leading the way with 24 points.

Kentucky now advances to the Sweet 16 in Atlanta where they will face the Indiana Hoosiers.
