The Sweet 16 is set for the South Region with three of the top four seeds advancing. Top seeded Kentucky advanced by easily defeating Western Kentucky and Iowa State. Kentucky takes on Indiana who happens to be only one of two teams to have defeated Kentucky this year. Indiana made it this far by defeating New Mexico State, and then holding off No. 12 seeded VCU.
The other two teams to make it this far are Baylor and Xavier. Baylor was challenged by both South Dakota State and Colorado, but they held off both to move on. Xavier first upset Notre Dame and then held off No. 15 seed Lehigh.
Here is Friday's schedule for the South regional semifinal:
No. 3 Baylor Bears vs. No. 10 Xavier Musketeers, 7:15 p.m. ET, CBS
No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats vs. No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers, 9:45 p.m. ET, CBS
