Its so far so good for the Kentucky Wildcats who are halfway to another national championship as they take a 41-27 lead over the Kansas Jayhawks at halftime. The Wildcats' tenacious defense led to easy opportunities on the offensive end and their length and athleticism made things tough for the Jayhawks.
Kentucky held Kansas to just 33 percent shooting in the first half, blocked five shots and recorded two steals. Doron Lamb leads all scorers with 12 points and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has 11.
Thomas Robinson had a tough time around the basket thanks to Kentucky's length but still managed eight points and six rebounds on just 3-11 shooting. Tyshawn Taylor also finished the first half with eight points and has a couple of assists.
