2012 Masters Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods Finishes First Round Even Par

It wasn't the best first round of Tiger Woods' illustrious career, but it wasn't a disaster either. Woods finished his first round at the Masters even par, and finds himself three strokes behind the leaders.

Woods finished the front nine one under par, with birdies on the third and eighth holes, and a bogey on the seventh. He then started the back nine strong, birdying the 10th hole, a par 4. Woods sat at two under par through the first 16 holes, but then bogeyed both the 17th and 18th holes, finishing at even par.

Each of the three holes that Woods bogeyed on the day were par 4s.

Woods is currently chasing Paul Lawrie, Miguel A. Gonzalez and Francesco Molinari, who all finished the day at -3. Bubba Watson is currently sitting at -3 through eight, and Lee Westwood is at -3 through ten.
