We're not even through the first round of play in the 2012 Masters, but there's already controversy brewing. Luke Donald finished the first round +3, shooting a 75, but there is controversy surrounding his scorecard. As such, the competition committee is currently reviewing Donald's scorecard, according to SI's Damon Hack.
Hold everything. Masters comp committee reviewing Donald scorecard. "We are aware there are some questions surrounding Donald's scorecard."— Damon Hack (@si_damonhack) April 5, 2012
Hack originally tweeted that Donald's 73, which would put him at +1, is legitimate. However, it appears that Donald shot a 75, which would put him at three over par. It shouldn't take long for the competition committee to figure out if Donald's scorecard is incorrect.
