2012 Masters Leadboard Update: Lee Westwood Leads After First Round

The opening round of the 2012 Masters is almost in the books, and a familiar face sits atop the leaderboard. Lee Westwood currently leads the entire field at -5, after shooting a 67.

Westwood has a one stroke lead over Louis Oosthuizen, who ended the day at -4 after shooting a 68. Oosthuizen had gone into the clubhouse as the leader, but Westwood eventually tied and took the lead while finishing up his back nine.

Six golfers are tied for third at -3.

Golf's biggest superstar Tiger Woods finished the day at even par after shooting a 72. Woods was at -2 headed into the 17th hole, but he bogeyed both the 17th and 18th to finish the day even par.

Rory McIlroy, one of the favorites to win the 2012 Masters, finished the day -1.

One of America's favorite golfers, Phil Mickelson, finished the round +2 after shooting a 74.
