2012 Masters Update: Lee Westwood In And Out Of The Lead

Lee Westwood lost his lead in the Masters after Peter Hanson tied him with a birdie on the fourth hole in second round action and Westwood bogeyed on 11. But he responded with a birdie on 12 to reclaim his tie with Hanson.

Things are now starting to move quickly, with Hanson and Westwood battling at the very top, and Sergio Garcia on their heels, playing the best golf of the day shooting 3-under par after bogeying on 9. Prior to that, Garcia was red hot, hitting 4-under par through the first eight holes.

Rory McIlroy is making noise too, with a 4-under score through the front 9. Of course, the question always seems to be about how he handles the back end.

Defending Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and Tiger Woods should be teeing off any minute now.
