The great thing about major tournaments in golf is the opportunity for someone unexpectedly to steal the stage and capture the fanbase in the palm of their hands. Enter Georgia Tech alum Matt Kuchar, who's magic on the fourth hole has ignited Kuchar into the third round lead late Saturday afternoon.
That magic on the fourth hole? A bunker shot that deserves a GIF, of course.
Here is the GIF of Kuchar holing out of the bunker on four, the former Yellow Jacket has birdied two of his first seven holes to pull even at 5-under par with Jason Dufner & Lee Westwood.
Impressive amount of spin on the ball toward the end, a lucky break here and there and Kuchar could be sitting pretty on Sunday.
