2012 SEC Softball Tournament: Alabama Downs UGA 1-0 To Advance To Finals

Georgia's run in the 2012 SEC Softball Tournament came to an end with a 1-0 loss to top-seeded Alabama. The Crimson Tide advances to the championship game on Saturday where they will take on the Florida Gators.

Despite finishing with six hits and three walks, the Bulldogs couldn't scratch across a run against Alabama starter Jackie Traina. Paige Wilson went 3 for 3 for Georgia but Courtney Conley's third inning home run proved to be the difference in the game.

Traina earns her 33rd win of the season going seven innings while allowing six hits and striking out five. Georgia's Erin Arevalo takes the loss pitching six innings while allowing three hits and just one run. Arevalo struck out three and walked one. Her record falls to 23-7 on the season.
