Georgia Vs. ETSU Baseball: Bulldogs Win Home Finale 7-4

With Sunday's game having been rained out, the Georgia baseball team honored its seniors in their home finale against East Tennessee State on Tuesday night. As for the game itself, the Bulldogs won 7-4.

Georgia used seven pitchers in the game. Luke Crumley got the start and went two innings, giving up two hits and one earned run. He eventually was credited with the win. ETSU led 1-0 after 1 1/2 innings, but Georgia scored two in the bottom frame and never trailed again. Jared Walsh doubled home a run and Peter Verdin scored Walsh on a single later in the inning.

Georgia scored two more in the third. ETSU scored once in the fourth and fifth innings to cut the deficit to one, but a three-run sixth for the Bulldogs put the game out of reach. Brett DeLoach went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Verdin went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Georgia has already clinched a spot in the SEC Tournament. They will wrap up the regular season with a three-game series at Alabama this weekend.
