Georgia (30-22, 13-13 SEC) will head to Tuscaloosa hoping to pad their SEC Tournament resume against Alabama (19-33, 7-20 SEC) in the final regular season series of the year.
The Bulldogs will begin Thursday night as the potential sixth seed in the conference tournament in Hoover next week, but with several teams - Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Auburn - all either a game above or below the .500 Dogs, who will finish with one less conference game because of a cancelled contest against South Carolina last week.
