Both Georgia and Georgia Tech are alive and likely in the field of 64 teams competing for a chance to play in the 2012 College World Series, but the location for each program's first round Regional is still up for debate. Both the Bulldogs (0-1 in the SEC Tournament heading into Wednesday) and Jackets (starting play in the ACC Tournament Wednesday as the No. 8 seed) can improve their resumes greatly this week.
Currently, Perfect Game's Kendall Rogers has the Jackets as a No. 3 seed headed to defending national champion South Carolina, which for travel purposes alone is a better draw than the Bulldogs, are projected to be the No. 3 seed in the UCLA Regional. Again, RPI wins in either conference tournament could be a huge swing upwards, especially if Tech were to beat No. 1 Florida State.

1. UCLA
2. Pepperdine
3. Georgia
4. Manhattan
Columbia, SC, Regional:
