Fever Vs. Dream Final Score: Indiana Slugs Atlanta 78-62

The Atlanta Dream lost for the second time this season to the Indiana Fever on Sunday falling 78-62 this time at Philips Arena. Indiana turned a free wheeling game early into a gritty defensive affair and one that the Dream did not handle well.

Atlanta jumped out to a 22-13 lead in the first quarter before the Fever slammed the door. Indiana responded by outscoring the Dream 26-13 in the second to take a 39-35 lead into the half. Tamika Catchings came alive in the second quarter scoring 17 of her 25 points in quarter. Atlanta's Angel McCoughtry suffered a hip-flexor injury right before halftime which slowed her for the second half.

Angel McCoughtry finished with 21 points with 11 coming in the first quarter. She finished 5 of 9 from the field and 11 of 13 from the free throw line. Lindsey Harding added 13 points but didn't record a single assist in the game. Atlanta tied a franchise low with seven total assists in the game.

Catchings led all scorers with 25 points and also had 12 rebounds. Katie Douglas added 16 points and Jessica Davenport added 12 off the bench. Indiana's bench outscored their Atlanta counterparts 27-2 for the game.
