Georgia and Georgia Tech will meet on Wednesday night at Russ Chandler Stadium in Atlanta in the rubber match of a three-game series. The Bulldogs took the first game in Athens 7-1 but the Yellow Jackets bounced back with a 4-3 win at Turner Field last month.
Both teams come into the game playing well. Georgia has won four straight overall and are coming off its first SEC sweep of the season the past weekend over Auburn. Georgia Tech stepped out of conference over the weekend and swept Charlotte. The Yellow Jackets have won eight of its last 11 games overall.
Freshman David Sosebee (2-0, 5.06 ERA) will get the start for the Bulldogs while Tech will counter with Josh Heddinger (2-4, 6.17 ERA).
