UGA Baseball Offseason: David Perno Reorganizes Coaching Staff

Georgia's disappointing end to its 2012 season had some wondering whether changes were needed at the top of the Bulldogs' baseball program. However, UGA athletics director Greg McGarity shut that talk down rather quickly after the Bulldogs' season ended in the SEC Tournament announcing that David Perno would return as the team's head coach in 2013.

Perno did decide that some change was in order and reorganized his coaching staff for the upcoming season. All relevant parties will return but assistant Jason Eller will be the pitching coach this season which was something that Perno had handled in the past.

Another full-time assistant coach Allen Osborne will add the title of recruiting coordinator to his job title. Osborne has served as the team's hitting coach and third base coach ever since he returned to Athens in 2010.
