The Atlanta Dream lost for the third time in their last four games with a lopsided 92-73 loss to the Connecticut Sun. After falling behind early, the Dream fought back to within eight at the end of the third quarter. Connecticut outscored Atlanta 21-12 in the fourth to take the victory.
Atlanta struggled defensively and failed to execute any effective offense against the Sun. Connecticut hit 62 percent of their field goal attempts while holding Atlanta to just 36 percent. Toss in 21 turnovers for the Dream and Atlanta had little going for it on this night.
Angel McCoughtry scored 23 points for the Dream but also was credited with eight turnovers. Sancho Lyttle added 21 points and Armintie Price added eight. Lindsey Harding scored just seven and was just 2 for 14 from the floor. Harding did record five of Atlanta's 13 assists on the night.
Tina Charles led the Sun with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Kara Lawson added 21 while Asjha Jones pitched in 17.
