John Isner has come a long way from his days as a wildcard qualifier to major tournaments, as the former University of Georgia tennis star received the No. 11 seed in the 2012 Wimbledon draw.

Wimbledon's grass courts naturally favor serving specialists like the 6'10 Isner, who won the longest match in tennis history here two years ago, a five-set marathon with Nicolas Mahut that ended 70-68.

However, he's dramatically improved his all-around game since, advancing into the second and third rounds of most majors and defeating Roger Federer in the 2012 Davis Cup.

At the age of 27, he's in the prime of his career and if he's ever going to upset one of the tennis world's Big Four in a major, Wimbledon could be the place to do it.

As usual, Novak Djokovic, Rafa Nadal, Federer and Andy Murray are the top four seeds, while Mardy Fish is the only American in the top 20.
