The Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox have had their game halted by a rain delay that has lasted for just over an hour. The weather is expected to clear at 8:20 p.m., so it was decided to begin the game at that time as there is a short window to begin the game.
There is still rain projected throughout the evening in Boston with Weather.com projecting a 70 percent rain now with the threat of rain increasing throughout the night, and a 95 percent chance of rain is expected to hit the area starting at 10 p.m. and continue through the night.
The game is getting underway as we speak, but the threat of thunderstorms in the area make this game not likely to be completed tonight.
