Roddy White has one of the most entertaining and sometimes controversial twitter streams of any pro athlete but perhaps he should have stopped short than discussing the Joe Paterno/Jerry Sandusky/Penn State fall out earlier today.
White posted a diatribe of messages on his Twitter feed defending Paterno and placing the blame on higher officials at the University.
A lot of stuff get swept under the rug at university's don't understand why penn state had to tell the media we got a coach rapping kids

There are many opinions on the Penn State situation and White is certainly entitled to his but what is there possibly to gain by commenting on something that is a lightening rod. This whole situation isn't about who is right or wrong as the deed is over and done with. Paterno is gone and State College Pennsylvania must now pick up what pieces are left and forge ahead.
White is still one of my favorite Falcons and I will stick by him but sometimes it is just smarter to keep your mouth shut.
