2012 BB&T Atlanta Open: Steve Johnson, Jack Sock Advance

Rain couldn't hold back a great opening day of tennis at the 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open. Steve Johnson overcame a weather delay that pushed his start time back over an hour and Atlanta's own Donald Young winning 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round.

Upset of the day goes to wild card entry Jack Sock who knocked off the seventh seeded Alex Bogomolov Jr 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 to advance to the second round where he will face his good friend and doubles partner Johnson.
