2012 BB&T Atlanta Open: James Blake, Michael Russell Advance On Day 2

The 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open battled the elements again on Tuesday as rain delayed the event for over three hours on Tuesday. When the rain finally cleared American Michael Russell rallied after losing the first set to defeat Alex Kuznetsov. Russell advances where he will face fifth seeded Kevin Anderson on Wednesday.

Rain delayed the evening matches for over two hours and when play resumed James Blake defeated sixth seeded Ryan Harrison 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the next round. Blake will take on Matthew Ebden in the next round.
