MLB All-Star Snubs: Michael Bourn, Jason Heyward Should Have Been Selected

Braves fans understand the value of a player like Michael Bourn and are certainly thankful for Jason Heyward returning to his rookie form. Apparently ESPN MLB insider Keith Law is of similar thinking.

And I'm not remotely a fan of putting a BABIP-fluke hitter such as Melky Cabrera in the game on that basis, let alone having him start over an established star such as Andrew McCutchen; Cabrera's roster spot should have gone to Michael Bourn or, preferably, re-emergent Jason Heyward, who appeared in the All-Star Game as a rookie in 2010

Dan Uggla and Craig Kimbrel were Braves players selected to represent the National League in this year's All-Star game.
