2012 BB&T Atlanta Open: Andy Roddick, John Isner Advance To Semifinals

Andy Roddick and John Isner will face off in the semifinals of the 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open after defeating their respective opponents and waiting out the elements on a drizzly Friday. Isner had a tougher time, sitting through a one-hour rain delay and fighting off the 19-year-old wildcard John Sock, 7-6 (7), 6-4. The match ended at 12:41 a.m.

The other semifinal matchup will be between Go Soeda and Gilles Muller. Soeda upset his compatriot Ken Nishikori, 6-2, 6-1, in the first meeting of Japanese players in a quarterfinal in the Open era.
