2012 BB&T Atlanta Open: Andy Roddick Upsets John Isner, Advances To Final

The Finals stage is set at the 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open as Andy Roddick will meet unseeded Gilles Muller on Sunday on Stadium Court in the finals.

Roddick held on to defeat the tournament's top seed John Isner Saturday night in a thrilling match 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-4. The match was a back-and-forth affair with Roddick gaining the upper hand early before Isner's power game started to come around.

Waiting for Roddick in the finals is Gilles Muller who knocked off the eight seed Go Soeda 6-4, 6-3. Muller was fortunate in the first round of the tournament when he advanced because defending champ Mardy Fish was forced to retire with an ankle injury. Since then Muller hasn't lost a set in his trip to the finals.

Here is a look at the results from Saturday's semifinal matches:

(4) Andy Roddick defeated (1) John Isner 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-4
Gilles Muller defeated (8) Go Soeda 6-4, 6-3
