BB&T Atlanta Open 2012: Roddick Excited About Playing In Sunday's Final

Andy Roddick advanced to Sunday's final at the 2012 BB&T Open in Atlanta, Ga. after defeating John Isner in the semi-finals on Saturday where he fired seven aces in the match despite the first set being delayed by rain for 44-minutes.

11 years ago, Roddick won his first professional event in Atlanta and will be looking to take the title as he faces off against Gilles Muller on Sunday. In an interview with AJC.com, Roddick spoke on how he was able to advance past Isner to get to the final:

"I took care of my serve," Roddick said. "I did what I was supposed to do. You aren't going to beat John if you get broken a lot."

Roddick also spoke about his excitement to be playing in the BB&T final:

"I'm excited," Roddick said. "I have a chance to win my second tournament in three tournaments."
