2012 MLB All-Star Weekend: Schedule Of Events

The Atlanta Braves and the rest of Major League Baseball are rapidly approaching the All-Star Break. This year's All-Star game will be hosted by the Kansas City Royals and will be held in Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.

The Braves will have several participants starting with Double-A catcher Christian Bethancourt's appearance in the Futures Game on Sunday. The annual home run derby will take place on Monday.

Three Braves players will take part in Tuesday's All-Star Game. Dan Uggla was voted in to start by the fans at second base and will also be joined by reliever Craig Kimbrel and third baseman Chipper Jones who will retire at the end of the season and will be making his final All-Star Game appearance.

Here is a look at the full schedule for the 2012 MLB All-Star Game:

Sunday July 8

SiriusXM Futures Game- 5 p.m. ET. on ESPN2

Monday July 9

State Farm Home Run Derby- 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrities Softball Game- 11 p.m. ESPN (Tape Delay)

Tuesday July 10

All-Star Red Carpet Show presented by Chevrolet- 2 p.m. ET on MLB Network
83rd MLB All Star Game- 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX
