2012 PGA Championship Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods, 2 Others Tied For First

After two rounds at the PGA Championship there is a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard between Carl Pettersson, Vijay Singh and Tiger Woods. Pettersson fell apart in his second round by shooting a 2-over round of 74, and his collapse came when he bogied five of seven holes after being at 2-under through five holes.

With a poor day by Pettersson, that allowed others to make a move to the top of the leaderboard, and it was two major players in Tiger Woods and Vijay Singh who took advantage.. Singh had the better day of the two as he shot a second round 69 which was 3-under par, and his round included five birdies. Woods was just a step behind Singh as he shot 1-under par and had three birdies.

For Woods this is a chance for him to win his first major championship since 2008, but with 36 holes of golf left and with nine players within three strokes of the lead there is still a lot of golf left to be played.
