Braves Vs. Mets Final Score: Paul Maholm Pitches Complete Game Shutout To Win 4-0

Braves starting pitcher Paul Maholm had one of his best games of his career as he pitched a complete game shut out against the New York Mets to win 4-0.

Maholm allowed only three hits and struck out give to get his 10th win of the season, and this was his second start for the Braves. The Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey had a good game in his own right by allowing two runs on only two hits.

The pair of runs against Harvey came when Jason Heyward hit a two-run home run in the first inning, and that was all the scoring that the Braves needed. The other two runs also came on another two-run home run by Dan Uggla which came off of Josh Edgin.
