2012 PGA Championship: Bad Weather Suspends Third Round

The third round of the 2012 PGA Championship has been delayed due to inclement weather rolling through South Carolina. Play is expected to resume at 7:45 a.m. ET on Sunday morning with the final round getting started at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Many golfers did not finish their round and the final group of Vijay Singh and Tiger Woods only made it through seven holes, so those two will have a lot of golf to play on Sunday. Woods struggled through his first seven holes where he shot four pars and three bogeys, and with that poor start Woods dropped from being tied for first to a tie for 11th.

Sing was able to stay at the top of the leaderboard by shooting a 2-under par through seven holes to improve his overall score to 6-under par. Rory McIlory is also at 6-under for the tournament and is tied for the lead with Singh after shooting 4-under through nine holes.
