After 16 days and more than 300 events, the 2012 London Olympics will come to a close Sunday with the Closing Ceremony.

Similar to the Opening Ceremony, the Closing Ceremony will feature appearances and performances from some of Great Britain's most famous celebrities. The Spice Girls are among the musicians scheduled to perform and they will be joined by Coldplay, Queen, The Who and others.

In addition to appearances from other celebrities, the Closing Ceremony will include more than 4,100 performers. The Olympic athletes will also be on hand with the event ending with they Olympic flag being handed over to Rio, the next host country.

Initially, NBC was planning to air the Closing Ceremony only in tape-delay during primetime. They, however, decided to allow fans to watch the event live online. The Closing Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched live at NBCOlympics.com. It will also air in primetime on NBC beginning at 7 p.m.
