There might have to be some improvising with the Georgia Tech offensive line this season. It's like a revolving door on the line because of injuries and the ensuing preseason competition. Here are some notes on the offensive line with insight from OL coach Mike Sewak, via the Atlanta Journal Consitution.
Basically, Tyler Kidney and Bryan Chamberlain worked with the first team this week while Ray Beno and Morgan Bailey have been sidelined recently. This allowed Nick McRae to slide over to right tackle, while Trey Braun also saw some reps at the position.
Sewak said Chamberlain is "coming along nicely" and will play this year, according to the AJC report, which also suggests his progress over the next three weeks will determine how much he'll play against Virginia Tech.
